Slow Cooker Butter Chicken

Ingredients
  • 28 oz Can of chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 tbsp Chopped Ginger
  • 6 Gloves of Garlic (Crushed)
  • 2 tbsp Almond Butter
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp Tumeric
  • 1 tbsp Ground Coriander
  • 1 tbsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 tbsp Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 4 Chicken Breast
  • 200 ml Double Cream or Plain Yogurt
Instructions
  1. To make a delicious curry sauce, add the following ingredients to your blender: 28 ounce can crushed or diced tomatoes, 1 onion, 3 tablespoons of chopped ginger, 6 cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons of almond butter and brown sugar each, 1 tablespoon of garam masala, 1 teaspoon of turmeric, coriander, cumin, chili powder and salt. Blend on high until smooth and pour the sauce into your slow cooker.
  2. To prepare the chicken in a slow cooker, add the pieces to the pot and mix with other ingredients. Set the slow cooker to high for 3-4 hours, or set it to low for 7-8 hours. When finished cooking, the chicken will be tender and flavorful.
  3. To finish your dish, add cream or yogurt, to the mixture. Give it a stir and season with salt to taste.
